The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning in the Valley for tonight and early Wednesday. Forecasters say temperatures are expected to dip into the low- to mid-30s in many locations near the central part of the Valley, and possibly lower in some areas.
When a freeze warning is in place, officials recommend these precautions:
- Keep pets indoors if possible.
- Cover tender plants with a sheet to prevent damage.
- Keep pool pumps running to prevent pipes from freezing
- Exercise caution with electric floor heaters and fireplaces.
