The Hamilton Huskies dominated the North Syracuse team Saturday at the Babe Ruth 14-year-old World Series in Appleton, Wis. The Huskies piled on eight runs in the third inning en route to a 13-4 victory.

Starter Tyler Erwin surrendered only three hits over five innings, while picking up two hits himself for the day. His efforts netted him player of the game honors.

On the offensive side of things, Kyle Pechloff led the way with three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Skyler Palermo and Edgar Galiz also notched three hits each.

The Huskies' next game will be 9 a.m. Monday when they face the Southeast Champion team from Jupiter, Fla.
