TUCSON - Tucson police are investigating the discovery of a woman whose body was found in a drainage culvert.
Two teenage boys out skateboarding found the body Wednesday on the city's south side.
Tucson police spokesman Sgt. Mark Robinson says detectives are working leads to identify the killer.
The woman's name is being withheld while detectives try to find her family.
Police have tentatively identified her as a 57-year-old Tucson woman.
Robinson says it appears the woman was killed shortly before the body was found Wednesday night, and that she died in the area.
