Rapper DMX, who has an outstanding warrant in Phoenix, has waived extradition from a Florida jail.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that deputies plan to fly to Dade County Jail within the next 10 days and escort DMX back to Arizona.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, failed to appear in court in Phoenix last week. He has been arrested several times in Arizona in the past year and missed several court dates.
The 37-year-old rapper is facing drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty charges.
