Allegiant Air announced Tuesday two new Midwestern destinations for East Valley passengers.

Williams Gateway Airport’s new hub airline said it will fly non-stop round-trips from Mesa to Fargo, N.D. and Fort Wayne, Ind. starting in November.

Flights to Fort Wayne will begin on Nov. 21. The Wednesday and Saturday flights will cost as little as $79 each way during the introductory period, $99 after that.

Flights to Fargo will start at $99 and be airborne Nov. 15. The carrier plans to fly twice weekly round-trips on Thursdays and Sundays. After the introductory period, fares will start at $109 for each leg.

The special start-up rates are available on most flights booked by Sept. 22 and flown by Feb. 10.

Allegiant said it will fly 130-seat, MD-80 jets on both routes.

The carrier has already announced plans to fly round trips from Williams Gateway to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Chicago Rockford and Peoria, Ill., Bellingham, Wash., Missoula, Mont., Stockton and Santa Maria, Calif., and Sioux Falls and Rapid City, S.D.

Two more Mesa destinations are planned and scheduled to be announced during the next few weeks.
