Mesa police are looking for a 32-year-old man on suspicion of first-degree murder after a 22-year-old man was found shot to death in a Mesa alley Thursday.
Police identified Alfredo Javier Vartolini of Mesa as the suspect.
Officers responded to Sixth Street and Dobson Road about 8 p.m. and found Juan Orlando Ramos of Mesa dead in the alley with a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to detective Chris Arvayo, Mesa police spokesman.
Witnesses told police there was an argument before the gunshots were fired. Ramos is the third homicide victim this week in Mesa.
