San Francisco slugger Barry Bonds is expected to bat fourth and play leftfield for the Giants against the Diamondbacks tonight at Chase Field. He missed the first two games of the three-game series with shin splints.

Bonds is 10 home runs shy of breaking Hank Aaron’s career home run record. He has not homered since May 27 and has just one home run in his last 61 at-bats dating back to May 8.

He’s hit three home runs in 11 career at-bats against Diamondbacks starter Livan Hernandez.
