The Scottsdale Fire Department is investigating an apartment fire that broke out in a second-story unit at 81st Street and Camelback Road early Thursday morning.
The fire broke out shortly after 2 a.m., and was under control in about 20 minutes, according to Tiffani Nichols.
No injuries were reported and an amount of damage contained to the second story apartment had not been determined, Nichols said.
Alternate housing was made available for the tenants living in the damaged apartment and in the one below it, Nichols said.
