Q.C. seeks low-water landscape specialists

Queen Creek is accepting applications from landscape, garden and green industry vendors specializing in low-water landscape and plants native to the desert to exhibit merchandise and answer questions at the annual Neighborhoods in Bloom Cactus Fiesta.

This year’s Cactus Fiesta will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Queen Creek Library, Zane Grey Conference Room, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road. This year’s speaker is Paul Wotlerbeek of the University of Arizona’s Boyce Thompson Arboretum.

Vendor applications are available at www.queencreek.org or by contacting Sherry Perez at (480) 358-3903. Completed applications are accepted on a first-come basis and must be submitted by 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13.
