Chaparral High School is being evacuated due to a construction accident that caused the rupture of a 1-inch gas line on school grounds this morning, Scottsdale police said.
Motorists traveling near the school, at 6935 E. Gold Dust Ave., will be affected as roads are being closed for safety.
There are no injuries to report at this time, and updates will follow.
