Perhaps we should give the resistance adequate arms but we should NOT commit any ground troops or take any active role.

Only 13 votes, but it's unanimous! I suspect [barring some insincere responses] that it was remain unanimous. So where Willie has opened up the conversation to what we should do, suggesting we might consider a more proactive approach, what besides diplomacy and perhaps sanctions would be approprate? I'd vote to help Turkey financial with Syrian refugees!

20 votes now. Is John McCain the only Arizonan who wants us to charge in to save the Syrians from Assad?

31 votes! Is interest dropping off?
Maybe we ought to encourage or editors to change the topic from Syria to Iran and it's nuclear program? Now that would be a truely hot button issue!

Iran should be made to understand that if they take one step out of line we have enough nukie missles targeting on them to reduce the whole country to a glowing bay off the Straights of Hormuz.
They will be GONE.
Completely
Totally
Irrevocably
GONE

Wow, after 73 votes, we finally get 5 who think we ought to invade Syria or otherwise sell them arms. After all the Russians are selling Syria arms and Iran has supported Syria as a staging ground for Hesballah against Israel. But is this worth more of our national treasure? Heck no.
For those Israelis who wish to remain in Palestine, let them make peace, not apartheid, with their Arab brothers. The rest can relocate to Long Island where the cultural shock will be minimal![wink]
