Banner Health announced Thursday that CEO Peter Fine earned an award that honors individuals with community service and commitment to health and welfare.
Fine was awarded the 25th annual B’nai B’rith International Healthcare Award on June 7.
B’nai B’rith International is an organization that focuses on issues of importance to the Jewish community.
In addition, Banner Health announced it will team up with B’nai B’rith to educate the public about Alzheimer’s disease including prevention, detection and treatment options.
“I feel so honored and extremely fortunate to be presented the B’nai B’rith International Healthcare award,” said Fine. To now be placed in the same category as past award recipients is an extraordinary privilege.”
Banner Health is a nonprofit health care system that provides services throughout the West Coast including Mesa.
