ABC15’s Susan Casper is joining Sonoran Living Live as a host on Monday, Jan. 7.
Casper has been a staple in the Valley at ABC15. According to a news release, she started her career in Tampa, Fla., having the distinction of being the first African-American woman to anchor a primetime newscast in Tampa.
Casper is known for her commitment to community. When she’s not on the air, you’ll find her working as a motivational speaker and volunteer, the release said.
“Susan’s strong interviewing and storytelling abilities make her a natural fit for Sonoran Living Live,” said Anita Helt, vice-president and general manager at ABC15. “She and host Terri Ouellette have great chemistry and their personal connection with our viewers will make for fun, entertaining television.”
Sonoran Living Live host "Terri O" added: “I’m so excited Susan is joining our team. Susan has a knack of making you her friend the first time you meet her. She is an amazing person whose passion is helping people do better with their lives. That excitement could not match up better to the Sonoran Living Live mission.”
Sonoran Living Live broadcasts at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday on ABC15. Casper's first day on the air is Jan. 7.
