Five Valley post offices will stay open late today for last-minute tax filers. The main post office in Phoenix at 4949 E. Van Buren St. will offer full service until midnight.

Other locations with extended hours include:

• Mesa’s main post office, 135 N. Center St., which will have full retail service until 8 p.m. and tax drop-off until midnight.

• Paradise Valley Mall, 4568 E. Cactus Road in Phoenix, which will have tax drop-off and stamp sales until midnight.

• The Metrocenter mall, 9617 Metro Parkway West in Phoenix, which will have tax drop-off and stamp sales until midnight.

• Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave. in Peoria, which will have tax drop-off and stamp sales until midnight.

Hass said those wanting to avoid the crowds are encouraged to mail their tax returns early in the day.
