The phrase “Christmas in July” often signals a sale.
But in this case, it’s a race to collect food for those in need.
The Chambers of Commerce in the East Valley are racing against each other to provide food and water for families and individuals who are having a tough time this summer.
The competition will benefit the United Food Bank.
Donations can be made through the chambers July 1-31. Cash donations are also being accepted.

WHAT ARE THE PERCENTAGE OF ILLEGAL ALIENS WHO COME TO THESE "FOOD BANKS" FOR FREE FOOD AND WATER ???
HOW MANY LEGAL, NATIVE-BORN OR NATURALIZED AMERICAN FAMILIES ARE TURNED AWAY FROM THE FREE FOOD AND WATER BECAUSE ......ILLEGAL ALIENS FAMILIES HAVE GOTTEN IN LINE BEFORE THEM ???
THESE FOOD BANKS SHOULD BE ASKING FOR DRIVER'S LICENSES (ARIZONA...NOT NEW MEXICO OR UTAH ONES THAT ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE GIVEN) TO PROVE THAT THEY ARE .....LEGALLY ELEGIBLE !!!
