As talks of a "fiscal cliff" escalate, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has published information on a website to help the public understand the tax implications.
Dec. 31, 2012, marks the expiration of the 2001 and 2003 tax rates. In addition, there are mandated federal cuts to spending.
On the friendsoftheuschamber.com/fiscal-cliff site, viewers can see what could happen to their taxes if Congress and the White House do not meet a compromise in the next month.

We've been heading for this "cliff' for the last 20 years.
Now that radical Republicans and tea party fanatics are advocating more cuts for the rich and no breaks for those of us who have to work, It won't get better, just punted down the road.
No rational. thinking person would allow this to happen. Irrational, self serving politicians will milk this to death.
The assertion that the present administration is to blame for this is pitiful. Congress has been here much longer than Barack. They haven't done anything but line their own pockets and work on their next election.
Childish, self-centered egomaniacs.
