Sad commentary is that most people who buy lottery tickets can ill afford to part with the money. Addtionally, if you are going to buy a ticket, why buy more than one? The increase in odds between buying one and multiple tickets is infinitesimal. Heck the difference between buying one and not buying one are about the same.
