East Valley drivers paid nearly 11 cents more per gallon for gas last week, according to AAA Arizona.

The average pump price in the East Valley was $3.366 on Thursday, 10.9 cents higher than the previous week. The statewide average was $3.349, 13.2 cents higher.

Fuel prices in Arizona have jumped 31.5 cents in the last month.

This week’s national average is $3.55 per gallon, up by more than 13 cents from last week.

Triple-A analysts say the price rise is typical for this time of year in Arizona as spring approaches and demand for gasoline starts to pick up.
