Agreed, great article Linda. From your mouth to God's ears. However, it is hard to dismiss the fact that the country just re elected an administration that has lived anything but frugally for the last 4 years. 4 years of spending one trillion dollars more than taken in and no suggestion of slowing down. As your piece indicates, there is much to be learned from generations when people to responsibility for themselves and lived within their means- even when it was hard.
