United Food Bank recently received a $30,000 donation from Fry’s Food Stores as part of their “Bringing Hope to the Table” campaign.

The campaign is a nationwide effort by Kroger to support local food banks. Since beginning in 2006, the program has raised $18 million in funds and $7 million in food for more than 80 food banks across the country.

This money comes at an especially needy time for United Food Bank, as it typically sees a drop in donations and an increase in need in the summertime. The funding from Fry’s will be used to support United Food Bank’s programs that work to provide food for thousands of individuals and families in Arizona.

Good job Fry's, it will come back to you by grateful shoppers who appreciate stores like yours and Basha's who are always contributing to the food banks and community.
