The Arizona Lottery is introducing a new twice weekly, multistate game with enormous jackpot potential.

Ticket sales for the Mega Millions game begin Sunday and the first drawing for Arizona game players is Tuesday. The drawings every week will be on Tuesday and Friday evenings.

The game is similar to Powerball. Tickets cost $1. The computer can choose the six numbers or players can choose their own.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot was $390 million, won March 6, 2007, by two players in New Jersey and Georgia and stands as a U.S. lottery jackpot record.

Mega Millions is played in 36 states and the District of Columbia.
