Corporate kickbacks. CEOS messing with resumes. The business world has taken its fair share of lumps – many self-induced – of late.
The Tempe Chamber of Commerce is taking a proactive approach, hosting a presentation on business ethics for members and the general public from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 21.
Marianne Jennings, professor of legal and ethical studies in business for the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU will be presenting on the subject at Monti’s La Casa Vieja, 100 S. Mill Ave. The event, which includes lunch, is sponsored by SRP and costs $25 for Tempe Chamber members, $35 for non members.
To register, call (480) 967-7891 or email info@tempechamber.org.

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the Tempe Chamber is having a seminar on business ethics at Monti's?

You're not the only one, desertdryheat...and I'd like to know what stake SRP (who is paying for the event) has as well.
But, since the event takes place in the middle of the day on a weekday, it would appear as if someone doesn't want any of us working class citizens to attend.,,I wonder why!
