Working to create a secure communications device, Chandler’s Cummings Engineering will launch the SAIFE Defender in California next week during the HALO Counter-Terrorism Summit.

The Chandler start-up business, in partnership with Ascent Rugged Mobile, created the device, dubbed, “the world’s first commercial rugged Android device with secure digital communications.”

Cummings Engineering is located in the Innovations Incubator in Chandler, which was recently recognized as one of the leading U.S. cities for technology startups.
