More than 30 students will be enrolled this summer in the first classes to be offered by the University of Arizona at UA Chandler, located at the Chandler Community Center. Classes begin May 18.

In the first year, master’s degrees and graduate certificates will be offered in education and management information systems (MIS).

“This collaborative partnership will assist the city as it continues to develop a highly educated workforce,” said Mayor Jay Tibshraeny.

The UA will use about 9,000 square feet of space at the Community Center, located at 125 E. Commonwealth Ave., for classrooms and offices.
