Chandler Councilwoman Trinity Donovan hosts the latest “Chandler in Focus” to talk about the Hermanas Conference, an event that introduces young Latino women to job opportunities in high tech fields.

During the city’s television show, Donovan interviewed the conference organizers, as well as education and technology experts about the impact and importance of this conference. The most recent conference was at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month, and others will be scheduled throughout the year.

“Chandler in Focus” is a monthly show hosted by members of the Chandler City Council. It covers community issues of interest to Chandler residents. The Hermanas Conference show began airing Friday on Cable Channel 11. Shows are streamed on the city’s website at www.chandleraz.gov/video.
