Blackbird Music & Art Center, 18911 E. San Tan Blvd., is celebrating its 5 year Anniversary with an Open House Extravaganza.
The celebration is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16 and will include a student art show, free art projects, snacks, games, registration specials and live music spotlighting students, teachers and professionals.
Blackbird Music & Art Center opened its doors in 2008 with the goal of serving the community with a center that provided music and art lessons in aunique environment.
The company offers private music lessons for all instruments including voice, group, art classes for all ages, theater classes and its Academy of Rock program.
Blackbird also has a full-service instrument rental department and works with many of the band and orchestra teachers in the East Valley school districts, the company said.
