Tempe-based Rio Salado College announced this week it received approval for a partnership with Northcentral University. The state Board of Education approved a professional preparation program for the Rio Salado College/Northcentral University Bachelor of Education partnership programs in elementary education, secondary education and cross-categorical special education. Students will spend their first three years taking courses at Rio Salado, then transfer for their final year to complete a degree.
Rio Salado is a part of the Maricopa Community College District. Northcentral University is an accredited, private, online school that serving adult students globally.
