Motorola announced Monday it agreed to multiple contracts worth $394 million with China Mobile Communications Corp.
The contracts focus on the expansion of GSM mobile phone service in 16 provinces in China.
The Illinois-based telecommunication company has facilities throughout the Valley. Motorola’s stock rose 24 cents to end the day at $16.85 per share.
