Gilbert’s Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center marked its one-year anniversary this week and the James M. Cox Foundation honored the milestone with a $5 million gift.
The center opened on the campus of Banner Gateway Medical Center on Higley Road just south of U.S. 60 in September 2011. This year, the center will begin a bone marrow transplant program. The gift by the Cox Foundation will be used to open the Cox Center for Integrative Oncology.
