Check out more than 100 area businesses, sample some free grub, and win a door prize or two at this year’s installment of the annual East Valley Business Expo.
The free networking event runs 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 at the Mesa Convention Center, 201 N. Center St., and aims to help local businesses foster working relationships while they also promote their efforts to local consumers.
The event is a collaboration of the Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa and Chandler Chambers of Commerce, with the East Valley Tribune serving as the presenting sponsor.
Free food will be available from area restaurants like Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cracker Barrel, and Famous Dave’s, and door prizes and individual exhibitor giveaways and raffles are also on tap for those who bring a business card.
“There’s no other place you can go where you’re going to have that many people that you can network with,” said Sean Barry of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce.
“The public should go just to find out what’s in (their) neighborhood and how (they) can be keeping their dollars at home,” adds Marty Tomljenovic of the Gilbert chamber.
