Queen Creek’s Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre was recently recognized by the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association for the 2011 Roots N’ Boots Pro Rodeo. The Association awarded its 2011 Justin Best Footing Award in the turquoise circuit to the rodeo for the park’s competition surface/flooring, known in the equestrian industry as footing.
The award recognizes the Roots N’ Boots Rodeo Committee and Horseshoe Park staff who put forth the extra effort required to ensure the rodeo had the safest, most consistent ground conditions through the competition to create a level playing field.
