Heather Heild and Anne Marie Holter led host Seton Catholic past Williams Field, 60-42, on Wednesday night.

Heild finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Sentinels (7-2). Holter added 11 points and eight assists as Seton jumped out to a 14-7 lead at the end of the first quarter and were never threatened.

Cardelia Allen led the Black Hawks with 14 points and Brittany Heyer added 12.

Girls Basketball

Queen Creek 55, Combs 16:  The Bulldogs pulled off a squeaker late led by a balanced offensive attack.  Bella Ford had 11 points to lead Q.C. while Makaily Worthington and Sarah Hefington both scored 10 to help the Bulldogs hold on.

Boys Basketball

Williams Field 62, Seton Catholic 46 Jeddediah Fagg and Jordan Johnson scored 15 points apiece to lead the host Black Hawks past the Sentinels. Josh Jimenez led Seton with eight points and David Gesicki added seven.

Boys Soccer

Red Mountain boys soccer advances to semifinals of Tempe-Diablo Tournament with wins over Gilbert and Perry to go 2-1 in pool play. The Lions will face Desert Vista in the semis Thursday at 6 p.m.
