Valley residents can nominate their favorite small businesses for a chance to win $2,500 from Mesa-based Gateway Bank.

Through Aug. 31, people can nominate small businesses with no more than 20 employees and are owned and operated by Arizona residents through Gateway’s Love Local campaign. The winner receives a $2,500 donation from the bank and $2,500 worth of services by Tempe-based design firm Forty.

“Small businesses help our economy grow and thrive, and Love Local is one way of showing appreciation while giving the community an opportunity to return the support,” said Gateway President and CEO James Christensen.

Gateway will announce the winning company on Oct. 1, and people can visit gcbaz.com/lovelocal to nominate a business or for more information.
