Blowing dust moved into the southeast Valley near Sun Lakes and Chandler around 4:30 Friday afternoon.
That is just a little taste of the stormy weather we are tracking around the state Friday and as we head into the evening there will be a 40 percent chance for more showers and storms right here in the Valley.
Highs will remain below normal through the weekend and only in the mid to upper 90s again tomorrow.
Weekend storm chances will stand at 30 percent on Saturday and 20 percent on Sunday.
Remember with these storm chances the biggest threats will be heavy rain, strong gusty winds, blowing dust and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. Flood prone areas should stay aware of rising water levels.
There will still be chances for storms all next week as well, with the best chances at 20 percent through Wednesday.
Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 80s across the Valley with daytime highs gradually warming to near normal by the middle of next week putting us at 105 or 106 next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
