Four kittens trapped by high water got a helping hand from Mesa residents Friday afternoon.
Tenants at a Mesa apartment complex heard the little guys purring for help.
Witnesses told ABC15 several people ran out and scooped the kittens up as the water was rising outside the apartment complex.
Neighbors said all but one has been adopted.
