FLAGSTAFF -- Snowfall at a northern Arizona ski resort has surpassed the seasonal average.
Arizona Snowbowl officials say 312 inches of snow has fallen so far this season at the resort just outside Flagstaff. That's more than four feet above the seasonal average of 260 inches.
The Snowbowl opened for the season in mid-December and plans to stay open until April 11.
So far, 175,000 people have hit the slopes, making it the fourth busiest season on record.
Snowbowl officials say they're hopeful they'll break the record of 193,000 visitors in a season that was set in 2004-2005.
Discounted tickets are being offered through April 4 for students on spring break.
