Snow will be the big story in the high country through tonight.
Snow levels will drop to between 4,000 and 5,000 feet by later tonight and tomorrow morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory for areas above 6,500 feet is in effect through tonight.
Expect snow totals to be between 3 to 6 inches for areas above 6,500 feet. Areas above 7,500 feet could see 5 to 8 inches by late tonight.
Colder air filtering in behind this storm system will mean cooler temperatures to start the week. Highs in the Valley will struggle to get out of the 50s both today and Tuesday. Overnight lows will be chilly as well, dropping into the low 40s, even the 30s in some spots!
Warmer, more seasonable weather returns toward the end of the week, make for great weather to attend the Phoenix Open.
