Some blowing dust hit the Valley on Thursday night from some storms that fell apart south of Casa Grande, while high pressure continues to build across the state.

Our rain chances remain very slim for both Thursday night and Friday. However, as the atmosphere continues to heat up in the afternoon our chances for an isolated storm increase slightly. Our rain chances still remain very, very low, at 10 percent through Friday.
As we get closer to the weekend, rain chances across the Valley increase, as moisture returns to the atmosphere. This will bring our temperatures back down to our near-averages of 103 for the time of year.
Next week's highs could possibly only top out in the mid 90s along with a 40 percent chance of rain compliments of Tropical Storm Lorena.
