The Wickenburg Children’s cultural Organization will sponsor the second Music in the Park on the grounds of the Garcia Little Red School House, 245 N. Tegner St., from 3 to 4:30 p.m. March 6.
Bring chairs, blankets or just sit on the grass. Take along picnic baskets, or buy refreshments from the vendors. Pony Espresso will sell sandwiches, coffee, soda and ice cream, and the Morristown Parent Teacher Student Association will sell popcorn and bottled water.
There will be a variety of music styles performed, including Karen LaMontange, vocalist on guitar, Morristown School string students (violin and cello), violin students of Eleanor Zakala, Hassayampa School Coyote chorus under the direction of Denise Douthat and featuring the local bluegrass/gospel group Extra Touch.
This is a free event, but donations to the WCO are welcome.
The Wickenburg Children’s cultural Organization was founded as a non-profit organization in 1994 and is committed to enriching the lives of children through music and the arts. We also provide venues for community entertainment.
