Two free classes will be offered at two separate branches of the Scottsdale Public Library in August:
"Naturopathy: Stories of Hope and Healing" will be 1 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Civic Center Library, 3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd. Naturopathic doctors will introduce the basics of naturopathic medicine. Attendees are invited to share their stories.
"Formulating the Old and the New: the Olympics and Ancient Greek Art and Architecture" will be 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Palomino Branch, 12575 E. Via Linda.
An Arizona State University professor will talk about new research on ancient Greek art and architecture as well as discuss the New Acropolis Museum in Athens, whose officials hope to get back ancient Olympic Parthenon sculptures from the British Museum.
