Artifacts. Rare books. Indian ruins. If you have a passion for historic landmarks, the Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park has the volunteer opportunity for you. The museum, located at the site of a 1,500-year-old Hohokam village just minutes from Sky Harbor Airport, is seeking volunteers for a variety of positions.

Depending on your interests and skills, you might work with artifacts, rare books, archival materials, children's tours, special events or construction in the exhibits department. Prospective volunteers can learn more during a meet-and-greet volunteer breakfast 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 4 at the museum, 4619 E. Washington St., Phoenix. The museum also will offer a docent training course 9 a.m. to noon every Thursday from Oct. 6 through Nov. 17.

To RSVP for the breakfast or register for the docent training, call (602) 495-0901 or visit www.pueblogrande.com. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required.
