Arts events fill January calendar for Scottsdale.

SUNDAY A’FAIR: Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts presents the 17th season of Sunday A’Fair, a free afternoon festival of arts and entertainment Jan. 8 at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall. Pop-folk artist Sarah Vanell will perform noon to 1:30 p.m., and vocalist Khani Cole 2 to 4:30 p.m. The event also features a selection of arts and crafts available for sale, hands-on activities for children and families and free docent-guided tours of the sculptures on the mall.
