Construction crews begin work Friday night on a project to build
the final 30 miles of High Occupancy Vehicle lanes along Loop 101

The Arizona Department of Transportation says westbound Loop 101
will be closed between SR51 and 19th Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday
until early Monday morning.
Westbound Loop 101 traffic will have to detour south on SR 51.
Motorists can use westbound Union Hills Drive or Bell Road to
travel beyond the freeway closure.
