Crews from the Scottsdale Fire Department took a hiker to Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak hospital after rescuing her from a trail at Pinnacle Peak Park on Monday.
The hiker, a 64-year-old woman, was having altered states of consciousness about a mile into the trail at the park, at 26802 N. 102nd Way, shortly after noon.
The rescue, which required a basket to help get the woman to the trailhead, took about 90 minutes.
