Three arrested in attack on teens at Scottsdale bar

Three young women were hospitalized after being assaulted with pliers by two men early Wednesday at a Scottsdale bar.

The assault happened about 2:45 a.m. at the Longshot Bar and Grill, 7436 E. McDowell Road, police said.

The victims, ages 17, 18 and 19, were treated and released from Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn hospital, said detective Sam Bailey. Their names were not released.

William Cox, 28, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. Jason Dutra, 21, of Phoenix was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct, and Richard Montague, 38, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
