What does Kellie Biles, a medical software engineer for Sage Software, like to do in her down time? You can often find this Scottsdale resident at Cook n’ Jacks Restaurant and Bar singing karaoke.
After moving from Seattle in 1999, Biles initially sang at Cook n’ Jacks at a benefit for muscular dystrophy.
The owner of the restaurant was so impressed by her talent he asked her to host their popular karaoke nights.
While she’s no longer hosting, Biles is still an avid supporter of their karaoke, and can frequently be found tapping her toes at the bar when she is not on stage performing.
However, her passion for singing far exceeds simple karaoke skills. She is actually recording her first CD, and flies to Chicago once or twice a month to lay down her own original tracks. Who knows, maybe someday people will be singing karaoke to the songs of this talented, charismatic performer.
