The Arizona Art Alliance will host a new show this November that is aimed at honoring Arizona military veterans and veterans’ issues.

Veterans who are artists are encouraged to submit their creative works for display. Works submitted by veterans do not need to be of a military nature.

“Honoring our Veterans” will pay tribute to the brave men and women who have selflessly served our country and will raise awareness of veterans’ Issues. The show is open to all artists who are veterans.

In addition, the alliance is seeking artists to submit works for “America - What a great Country!!” that will run in conjunction with “Honoring our Veterans.”

Both shows will be held at the Arizona Art Alliance Gallery, 9011 E. Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale, in the Pavilions at Talking Stick Resort and will run from Nov. 1-25. The gallery will be open to the public Wednesday - Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Artwork submitted must be the artist’s own creation and only original art pieces allowed. Copies, gilcees, and prints will not be accepted. All artwork must be for sale and a 15 percent commission on each piece will be retained for the Veterans’ Art Outreach Program.

For more information, contact the Arizona Art Alliance at (602) 870.7610 or visit www.azartalliance.com.
