The holiday season is an exciting time for all, especially for children. But for some children, this holiday season will be spent as a patient at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Dec. 23-24, volunteers and staff will transform the hospital conference center into a magical winter Toyland. Parents of hospitalized patients will have an opportunity to select unwrapped toys from an array of donated items free of charge from generous donations from the community.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital will be accepting gift card and toy donations Dec. 10-22 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Non-violent, brand new toys will be accepted. No food, candy, or stuffed animals will be accepted. A list of gifts that are needed is available on the hospital’s website.

Toy and gift card donations will be accepted at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, 1920 E. Cambridge Ave. Donation drop off will be at the Rosenberg Building entrance on the main campus, Building E.

To make a donation, contact the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation at 602-933-TOYS (602-933-8697) or email donations@phoenixchildrens.com.

Volunteers are needed to help throughout the donation period and at the event. If interested, visit http://action.phoenixchildrens.com/volunteer or call for volunteer information at (602) 933-0269.
