Queen Creek is offering free Christmas tree recycling at a drop-off location on Crewse Lane, just south of the Municipal Services Building, from 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 8 and 14.

All trees must be free of decorations and tinsel. Trees will be taken to a green waste recycling facility.

The Jan. 14 event, located at 22358 S. Ellsworth Road, will also incorporate an electronics recycling event, inviting residents to recycle their computers, printers, televisions, refrigerators, freezers and more.

Trees collected through regular curbside bulk collection will be taken to a landfill. Trees left for curbside bulk collection must be cut into four-foot lengths and bundled.

The bulk collection must be scheduled no later than the Monday prior to the designated Wednesday bulk collection day.

Call (480) 358-3450, option 7, to schedule a bulk collection or for more details on the Christmas tree recycling.
