Lifetime Eye Care had the pleasure of treating Ahwatukee Makeover winner Coralea Gosnell to the same full-service experience that is our trademark. As a woman in her 40s, Coralea was noticing that reading was becoming more difficult and it was inconvenient to remove reading glasses to see distance.

Dr. Alex J. Smith thoroughly examined the health of her eyes and vision, including digital retinal imaging, refraction with binocular balancing and dilated fundus examination to determine the right prescription for Coralea.

Arizona-licensed optician Armando Prieto and Brittany Barnes helped Coralea find a beautiful pair of Versace frames that not only looked great, but would serve her visual needs with the right progressive multifocal lenses. “She looked great in the Judith Lieber, Dior and Gucci also, but this pair just looked like it was made for her,” said Armando.

In deciding which lens to utilize, we opted for the most technologically advanced lenses which are digitally surfaced; customized for each patient and prescription. These lenses let the wearer use more of the lens than was available even a year or two ago, allowing for more natural vision and less distortion than is found in most progressive lenses on the market. The premium antireflective coating will allow her to see more clearly and also have a polished, finished look to her lenses.

As Ahwatukee residents Dr. Smith and his wife Rebecca are proud to be part of this makeover.  “It is important to us to be an active part of our community. We regularly contribute to local schools, civic organizations and community interests, because we live and are raising our family here too.” says Rebecca Smith, co-owner of Lifetime Eye Care.

Coralea's take:

I never knew eyewear could be sexy, and bring out a whole new image, until I met the team at Lifetime Eyewear.

After having a full vision screening I was ready for some glasses to assist me with reading.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We finally found the perfect pair of eyewear and I absolutely love them!

Thank you Lifetime crew for making reading...a lot easier for me!

Thank You Dr. Alex!
